The 2016 Profondo, our tenth bottling in eighteen years, is a blend of our best parcels from the oldest vines on our estate, 44 years. It is comprised of 55% cabernet sauvignon and 45% malbec. Matured for 18 months in seasoned French oak barriques and bottled unfined and unfiltered, this is a complex, multi-layered, silky textured wine with elegance and full, fine tannins with the depth, purity and structure for long-term cellaring.
